Samsung doesn't have these kind of issues. Mind you there ARE ways to unlock it by paying someone for it BUT, I would rather do it legally from the company that makes it rather than pay some stranger to do something illegal. I didn't steal it, I didn't take it from anyone yet here I am trying to find a hacker who will do it for me because Apple refuses to help. It's YOUR product yet you refuse to help someone who is a good customer and has had several Apple products and will have more in the future. Why would you refuse to help unlock it? I bought it. Now I'm sitting here with a nice paperweight and Apple refuses to help. I needed the iPad for my graphic design work whenever I meet with clients. It's a little unfair for someone who paid for an Apple product to be told there's nothing anyone can do when there is proof of purchase and ID. I contacted Apple via telephone and they were no help. I took it back to the pawn shop and they said they could not refund me and all sales were final. It had a passcode on it so I plugged it into my iMac, did the whole recovery thing and when I tried to register it under my email it said it was under the previous owners email. I bought an iPad Air 2 last week at the pawn shop for $50.
